Android Q – How to Enable Screen Recording

Finally, Android Q is here in the form of an early beta, Android Q brings a bunch of brand new features.

Screen recording has been available in Android Phones as a native part of Android for a few years.

Though if you are waiting for a built-in screen recorder in your Smartphone, you will be glad to know that,

Here is how you can enable the built-in screen recorder in your flagship Android Q.

How to Enable Screen Recorder in Android Q

Step Number 1=> Simply visit the settings of your Smartphone, Scroll down click on the “About Phone” option

After that hit the “build Number” Seven times to turn on the Mobile Developer Mode.

Step Number 2=> Now you will need to click on the “System” button, If you are in the System window you may see “Advanced” option tap on it.

Step Number 3=> Now you will be able to see “Developer options” by scroll down in Settings window click on it,

After that go for “Feature Flags” option under the Debugging.

Step Number 4=> In Feature Flags windows you will need to enable the “Settings Screenrecord Long Press” by clicking on the toggle.

Step Number 5=> Now you are completely done.

How to Use Screen Recording in Android Q

Just press and hold the “Power” button of your Smartphone, Automatically the power Menu pops up,

Then you will need to press and hold on the “Screenshot” Section.

Now you will be able to see the “Screen Recording Menu Pop-up” option.

Over-there you can enable recording sounds via the microphone,

And you can enable and disable the “Show Taps” Section. 

If you are done simply click on the “Start Recording” option.
